Leftover Almond Pulp

I made another batch of Almond milk and for some reason I had a lot of almond pulp leftover. I found this great recipe Almond Pulp Breakfast Bars which is in the oven right now. I hope it turns out great.

The bars are out of the oven and sort of cooled down and I can’t stop eating them, lol.¬† They are not the best bars by far but for my 1st time making this recipe.

Changes for next time:
chop up dried fruit, the bites with the fruit have the perfect sweetness

 

Homemade Almond Milk

I just want to mention how quickly, easy and cheap it is to make almond milk.

1 cup soak almonds (or your favorite mix of nuts)
3 cups water

Directions
1-Vitamix it2-pass it through a double layer of cheese cloth
3- drink and enjoy

Add ins: vanilla, soaked dates

I’m still working on what to do with the almond pulp but Im sure it will be going to good use. My mother is already working on a cookie, who knows what that genius mind of hers will come up with.
